9/22/2012--Well the news right now is I am venturing out into oil paints. I am working with a style called IMPASTO..this definition is taken from Wikipedia: In English, the borrowed Italian word impasto most commonly refers to a technique used in painting, where paint is laid on an area of the surface (or the entire canvas) very thickly, usually thickly enough that the brush or painting-knife strokes are visible. Paint can also be mixed right on the canvas. When dry, impasto provides texture, the paint appears to be coming out of the canvas. So check out my pictures and be sure to like me on facebook and keep an eye on Justin Manning Art as I will be updating it more often:)
